TOKEBI

About me

What is TOKEBI: In Korean mythology, Tokebi (도깨비) or Dokkaebi, is a grotesque-looking sprite or goblin. These creatures loved mischief and playing mean tricks on bad people and they rewarded good people with wealth and blessings. TOKEBI, since being a little boy loved to draw skeletons, skulls, and weird monsters and sprites, to the point of almost getting kicked out from the males catholic school he attended in Guatemala. Rock since he was 8, living in Chicago and Korea and fascinated with Korean & Japanese mythology and rockabilly street art, the alter ego of Tokebi was born.
